There's a story published on at least two popular entertainment websites claiming that Oprah Winfrey will star in a reality series that will take her from the high life of Chicago to the poverty-stricken streets of the inner city for an entire month. Even though Oprah is known for bringing attention to poverty, I thought the reality show plan sounded a bit strange. When I called Oprah's Harpo Studios to get the facts, a publicist for the star told me there is absolutely "no truth" to the story -- which is actually too bad.
