Paula Abdul Scandal Heats Up

By May 5, 2005

Follow me on:

Everybody seems to be adding their two cents about the Paula Abdul Primetime Live special. So, here's mine. Is Corey Clark an opportunist? Yes. Is he a sleazy guy? Yes. Is he a liar? I'm not so sure. Clark had phone records, voicemail messages, and convincing details to support his claim that he had an inappropriate affair with Paula Abdul. To defend herself, Paula has only said she will not dignify his claims with a response. Now the question is, will Paula still be sitting in the AI judges' chair next year? I'll keep you updated as it all unfolds. In all of this controversy, one thing is for sure. Corey Clark got to promote his music and book on tv, which was clearly his goal to begin with.

In other American Idol news, America got it right this week. Scott Savol was finally voted off American Idol. This should have happened a few weeks ago (like when he butchered one my favorite Luther Vandross songs, for example) but better late than never!

Paula is a key Judge on Idol. They need to keep her. I’d be glad to share phone #’s with her and not advertise it like a desperate Pig like Mr Clark.
