American Idol Album Will Be Released Next Week

Even if Mikalah Gordon's music career never takes off after American Idol, she can still call herself a recording artist. All twelve American Idol finalists (even the ones you've forgotten already) appear on "American Idol 4: The Showstoppers," a new CD that will be released on Tuesday, May 17. The album features each finalist singing one of the songs they performed on Idol. Also featured on the CD is "When You Tell Me That You Love Me," the charity single that the Idols recorded for the American Red Cross.   • "Independence Day," by Carrie Underwood.
    This is the song she performed on the 1990s show. It was originally recorded by Martina McBride.

  • "I Don't Wanna Be," by Bo Bice.

  • "Best of My Love," by Vonzell Solomon.
