Amy Grant's Three Wishes Is A Friday Night Treat

Friday November 11, 2005
NBC may be struggling this season, but the peacock network has a hit on their hands with the Friday night reality show Three Wishes. On Three Wishes, host Amy Grant (Yes, the music star) travels to communities across America to grant wishes to deserving people. Break out the Kleenex, people! And good news, ladies. Carter Oosterhouse, the hunky carpenter from TLC's Trading Spaces, is featured as a consultant on the show.

I would like to say that I absolutely love the show. It makes me cry everytime I see it. Please keep it on tv. I think these are the kinds of shows that should be shown more often. It’s a good reminder about how lucky we are because some of these people have gone threw so much. I would like to make a wish for my fater-in-law because he has bone cancer. Can you contact me Amy Grant. It would mean the world to me to give back to my father-in-law.

    Thanks,

Hi Amy Grant, I am cathy from singapore and recently I get to watch your show as beautiful as a true heart warming show to those people that has really struggled in life to keep going on with what they have. Hope is something that has been in my heart since I was a child. I am a filipina athlete before and has been working here in singapore now in the american school and has been really loveing it ever since. I have been really touched by your show. Every poeple that has been touched by your show really inspired me to write something about your nice show that has refreshed my heart in beleiving in our Father in Heaven and the hope that has always fired my heart in continuing in life even though things didnt really turned out the way you really expected it. It still melted my heart in seeing those people who got thier whishes. I just keep crying in watching it. Specially those marines and soldiers that has to go to Iraq or other war end countries that needs peace and have to serve their country for a long time and sacrifice them selves for peace. Even the part where there is this family that struggled to put there farm back after a bad fire made me cry hard remembering how life use to be when I was still young. I am really happy to see your show every sunday and get inspired. Hope to see more of you and your staff in the television and I will keep on beliveing and hoping for my dreams to come true….Thanks very much for bieng a true friend to all of us….

Hey Amy I love your program, I cry every time I watch, I envy those lucky people who get to have their wishes come true, bless your sweet heart, I would like to say if I had one wish It would be for my dad to have his family reuion, this was supposed to happen July 25/26 , but due to death in our family this was cancelled, my dad is 80 yrs old not getting any more younger, & I know money is something that he always needs after getting ready for his reunion, I seen the hurt in his eyes when he said the reuion was cancelled, I myself can’t afford to put something like this together, I am a mother of 4, 2 living with me, 2 of age & on their own, but like I said losing loved ones put us all in delt, I hope any of this makes any sence, my name is Elizabeth Watts of alittle village about 2 hours from Terrace British Columbia, thanx for reading my humble messages & bless you & your family fr. my family In Kincolith BC

    Dear Amy,
I am a single mom of three kids, two of my kids were in a car crash may 4,2009. My 7 yr.old son is paralized from this accident and my 8 yr.old daughter had fractured arm, leg and twisted her left leg. Right now i am struggling to find a van for my son, that is wheelchair accessiable, I even got a house which needs to be fixed up I have no furniture, beds dressers nothing and really don’t have the money to buy anything, and all of us barely have clothes because the grandmother’s son took all of our things as i sat in the hospital with both my kids. I am not sure if you still read these I wanted to share my story and pray that I can have someone to help me and my kids. Thank you
