OK...I'll admit it. I watch Laguna Beach! When the show made its debut on MTV last year, I figured that it wouldn't be my cup of tea. But Laguna -- about a group of filthy rich high school kids living it up in their California beach town -- eventually grew on me. I actually started to care if Lauren would hook up with Stephen, if Jason and Jessica would break up...you know, the juicy stuff! That's why I was excited to learn that Laguna star Lauren "LC" Conrad will be getting her own spin-off show next year.

According to the New York Post, cameras will follow the lovable high school grad when she moves to Los Angeles for college and an internship at Teen Vogue. The new show will be called "The Hills."

Laguna Beach producer told the Post: "The way I look at it is, 'The Hills' is to 'Laguna Beach' what 'Melrose Place' was to 'Beverly Hills, 90210.... This is the story of Lauren from 'Laguna Beach' bursting out of that bubble, moving to L.A. and trying to juggle school, a career and relationships — you're going to get a good mix of the three different avenues of her life and how she's trying to keep it all together."

I wouldn't be surprised if Laguna kids Kristin, Jason, and Stephen pop up on Lauren's series. They are also moving to LA.

The second season of Laguna Beach concludes tonight at 10pm ET on MTV.
