Linz Family Wins The Amazing Race: Family Edition
Wednesday December 14, 2005
The Linz family of Cincinatti, Ohio are the winners of The Amazing Race: Family Edition. The siblings were the first team to arrive at the finish line in Queenston, Canada, where host Phil Keoghan and the previously eliminated families cheered them on. The Bransen family finished a close second and the Weavers were the last family to arrive. (Read a full recap.) Things got emotional when the families talked about how much they loved each other and how much the race had made them closer. That's when I had to break out the Kleenex. In other Amazing Race news, fans of the show who hated the Family Edition will be pleased to know that The Amazing Race 9 will have two- person teams and more exciting challenges. The new season premieres in February. (Photo courtesy of CBS.)
