Randal Wins The Apprentice -- But Is He A Jerk?
Friday December 16, 2005
OK. First, I should report that Randal Pinkett was hired by Donald Trump on the season finale of The Apprentice. He did a great job. He deserved it. Yada, yada, yada. But I have a feeling that his hiring isn't what most people will be buzzing about for the next few days. Here's the deal:
Trump was so impressed with Randal's competition Rebecca Jarvis, he asked Randal if he should also hire the 23-year-old financial writer. Randal's answer?
A big fat no. "[This isn't] 'The Apprenti,' it's 'The Apprentice,'" Randal said, explaining that he believed there should only be one winner. Trump agreed to "leave it at that" and then came the boos from the crowd. My question is, do you blame Randal for not wanting to share his victory with Rebecca? Do you think he was being a jerk? Sound off below.

Yes. He was being selfish.
No. He shouldn't have to share the spotlight.
I'm not sure.
Talk about it in the forum.

Just watched the final episode where Randal
becomes the apprentice. I was blown away by the small minded meanness of his answer re Rebecca. Has he survived with Mr Trump?
I stopped watching the show after this episode…
The first black winner and Trump asks him to share the title.
What an insult!
There is only 1 Apprentice.
Rebecca wasnt THAT good.
Randal was 5 times better than Rebecca…. Stevie Wonder could see that!
