I recently had the pleasure of speaking with Supernanny star Jo Frost, who is busy promoting the new season of her ABC reality show. Here are three things I learned about reality TV's hottest nanny when I asked her a few questions. 1) She actually doesn't mind wearing the purple suit all the time. She says her personality is much bigger than the frumpy old thing. (Okay, Jo. You may be fine with the purple suit, but wer'e kind of sick of it!)
2) She has been hit and even spit at by some of the children she has worked with, so Jo admits that aggressive kids may be the worst thing about her job. (I'm not surprised after watching some of those incidents.)
3) She thinks its great that fellow Brit Simon Cowell is also making a splash on American reality TV. And responding to a question of mine, she said she wouldn't mind spending a little time with him on the "naughty mat."
(Okay. When I asked Jo about putting Simon on the naughty mat, I was trying to bring up his bad behavior on Idol. What did she think I was talking about?)
Supernanny airs Monday nights at 9 pm ET on ABC.
