Weighing In on Wednesday Night's Eliminations

  • Melissa McGhee was the first top twelve finalist eliminated from American Idol. Even though she forgot the words to one of my favorite Stevie Wonder songs on performance night, I was hoping she wouldn't be the one to get voted off. If you ask me, there's another contestant who really needs to go. (I'm not naming names, but I'll just say he's sixteen and wears glasses.) And were you as shocked as I was that Ace and Lisa were in the bottom three?

  • And earlier on UPN, Wendy, who lost everything in Hurricane Katrina, was the second girl eliminated from America's Next Top Model. She failed to impress the judges with her pictures from an iced-themed photo shoot...I know that the judges should consider photos and not personal stories on elimination night, but I wouldn't have been too mad if Wendy got a little special treatment after surviving Katrina.
