30 Second Recap -- Kari Eliminated from America's Next Top Model

Thursday March 23, 2006
What happened? Kari was eliminated from the show after stumbling repeatedly during a runway challenge and during an elimination night walking test.

Something we should mention: During their runway walks, the girls' had to carry giant cockroaches!

Memorable moments: A confident Jade kissed her cockroach during the runway challenge. A not-so-confident Gina freaked out and screamed with disgust before hitting the stage.

Moment that made us laugh out loud: Gina, who found a hero in contestant Danielle, couldn't get enough of her new friend. She even asked Danielle if she could watch her take a shower. (Danielle wasn't having it.)

Something that disappointed us: Nnenna, who had been doing so well, didn't stand out on this episode. For the first time, she did not win the weekly challenge. (Jade was the winner and she got the VIP treatment at a fashion week show.)

Best photo shoot: Danielle looked beautiful in this week's fairy-tale themed shoot. She was dressed as Snow White, or as she put it, Snow Black. Joanie, who was dressed as Cinderella, also did well.

Something that surprised us: Gina wasn't the girl to get voted off! Because of her freak-out over the roaches, her insecurity over all, and her weak photo shoot (she was Sleeping beauty but looked wide awake), we thought she would be going home.
