If Kellie Pickler isn't voted off American Idol tonight, it will clearer than ever that America doesn't always vote based on talent. Kellie's disappointing performances over the past few weeks prove that she may not be in the same league as the other singers competing this season. Many of us love her personality, but American Idol is a singing competion. It may be time for this country charmer to go home...And if Chris Daughtry or Elliot Yamin end up in the bottom two, I am through with American Idol -- until next week, that is.

I so agree with you! We really do not need another Carrie this season. Time for something new and different.
Singing competition yes, but the name,”American IDOL” would seem to indicate someone who could be a big star and THAT needs to be something more than just singing well. Audience needs to love their idols. some of the biggest stars are not necessarily the best singers. It’s the whole package.
I like Kellie’s personality, but her voice is in need of training. She just doesn’t have it at this level of competition.
Let’s talk about the reality that Katharine was told she shouldn’t sing Whitney Houston because she certainly can’t sing as well as Whitney. Well, I think it is pretty weird that Paris was praised for singing “BARBRA STREISAND” only the best female vocalist in decades. I guess Paris can sing better than Barbra???????????? NOTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT
Kellie does have a great voice for someone without any training and she is beautiful, so I think she will have offers on the plate for her efforts. She is an honest lady and very genuine, which is very very refreshing in the world of TV, Movies and Song. Just my opinion.
