Ebay Sellers, Hot Young Singles, and Talented Wannabes Coming to ABC This Summer

ABC is going reality tv-crazy this summer. The network has announced five new reality shows!  Here's what we can look forward to:

  • Buy It Now -- Families put their prized possessions on Ebay to help finance their dreams.  Here's the cool part -- viewers get to bid on these items after each episode. The results will be revealed in a live follow-up episode the same week. The premiere date has not been set.
  • How to Get The Guy -- Four young, attractive women look for their Mr. Right with the help of two love coaches -- journalist Teresa Strasser and TV host JD Roberto. Strasser and Roberto will offer the he said/she said perspective.  How to Get The Guy was shot docu-soap style in San Francisco. Premieres Monday, June 12.
  • Master of Champions -- Each week, ontestants from all over the world compete in unique and extreme competitions from Pizza Tossing to Amazing Drift Driving (whatever that is.)  The wimners earn the title of Master Champion. The premiere date has not been set.
  • One Ocean View -- Producers follow young professionals in New York City as they flee Manhattan each weeked to share a house in an exclusive beach community. ABC promises "days at the beatch and nights filled with romance."  The premiere date has not been set.
  • The One: Making of a Music Star --  Aspiring singers attend a music academy where celebrity mentors will help them realize their star potential. Each week,  the singers will perform live for America and we will vote who will stay on the show and who will go home. The winner gets a recording contract. The premiere date has not been set.
