Considering the fact that I dozed off at least three times during NBC's Amazing Race, err, I mean Treasure Hunters on Sunday night, I am not the person to give you the play-by-play of what happened on the season premiere. And because I did doze off at least three times during the show, I am the person who will give you some advice if you missed it.

Only watch Treasure Hunters if you're missing The Amazing Race during it's summer hiatus and you don't mind watching a less-appealing knock-off of the CBS favorite.

Treasure Hunters adds some twists to the Amazing Race concept, such as the promise of a mysterious treasure at the end of the game and the solving of clues throughout the competition, but I was surprised that all of this mystery added little excitement to the show. And the teams, which include ex-CIA agents, beauty queens, and "geniuses," are less interesting than they sound. I will probably watch the show again (and hopefully, I'll be able to stay awake through future episodes), but Treasure Hunters is not on my summer must-see list.
