America's Got Talent Will Have New Twists, Audition Dates Announced
When America's Got Talent returns in January, there will be a few changes to the NBC talent show.
- We will hear more personal stories about the contestants.
- Contestants will get expert help during a new boot camp phase of the competition. (Producer Simon Cowell says the contestants didn't get enough help last season.)
- The top ten contestants will perform every week during the semifinals, and they will face elimination after every performance show.
The show's format may have changed, but its stars will remain the same. Regis Philbin will return as host and Piers Morgan, Brandy, and David Hasselhoff will be back to judge the contestants.

my name is josh and im from louisiana. i would be doing a singing act but traveling during the school year so far up north is very hard with my classes and all. im 16 years old and a junior in high school. would there be any possibility of an audition somewhere in the south such as New Orleans, Dallas, San antonio, etc. to where I could go for a weekend and be back for school on monday or tuesday
