After months of rumors about which celebs would put on their dancing shoes for the fourth season of Dancing With the Stars, ABC has finally revealed the new cast. As always, the stars aren't exactly A-list. But one participant, who is going through a nasty divorce that has made international headlines, will definitely have the media buzzing. The celebs are:

  • Paul McCartney's estranged wife, former model Heather Mills
  • Country singer Billy Ray Cyrus
  • Former Entertainment Tonight host Leeza Gibbons
  • Former *NSYNC star Joey Fatone
  • Muhammed Ali's daughter, boxer Laila Ali
  • Speed-skating Olympic champion Apolo Anton Ohno
  • Former supermodel Paulina Porizkova
  • Basketball Hall of Fame member Clyde Drexler
  • Former Beverly Hills 90210 star Ian Ziering
  • Miss USA 2004 Shandi Finnessey
The new season kicks off March 19 on ABC.

(4) WannabeDancer says:

Why do you have to be a professional dancer to Dance With The Stars?? Can’t you have an ‘average Jane or Joe’ team up with a celebrity and compete against other teams in the like? I love to ballrom dance, but unfortunately, I am not a professional. I, and other ‘averages’ would love the opportunity to team up with a celebrity and dance! Why don’t you change the show a bit….eh? Like a reality show following the stars and the ‘averages’ preparing for the big competition? Any other suggestions anyone???

WannabeDancer- The Celebs are already unprofessional dancers as it is… if they had to people who weren’t professional dancing, then it would be a complete mess most of the time. Who would be teaching them their routines? Its the professional dancers who are there to teach them and then dance with them so they can be judged. The celebs are the ones who are up for the prize. If you want to go on a dancing competition show, try out for “So you think you can dance”… thats for the average joes and janes.

I have always enjoyed watching dancing with the stars. U will not watch this season unless Heather Mills is voted off the first night. I will not even watch the first episode. What ever possessed you to think we would want to watch a no talented gold digger like her. She has accomplished nothing in her sad life other than to try and destroy Paul McCartney. I have several friends who watch the show and will not watch it this season has long as that piece of crap is on it.

(9) Gary says:

I’ll watch it, but not happy “gold digger” (as charlene said above) Heather Mills will be on it. She will certainly not be voted off first or even 2nd week. Who knows, maybe I’ll end up liking her. I had a friend with two fake legs believe it or not that would occassionally lose a leg and have it sail down the mall walkway!

Perhaps you should watch the show – and Heather Mills’ dancing – before you criticize. You don’t know what you’re talking about.
