"Don't cha wish your girlfriend was Asia Nitollano, who won The Search For The Next Doll to become the seventh Pussycat Doll, has quit the hit pop group to pursue a solo career.
Not many of our readers supported Asia's win in the first place. What do you think of this shocking development?
In other Search for the Next Doll news, the show will be back for a second season later this year. But this time, producers will be creating a new pop trio called Girlicious.

I was completely against Asia getting it anyway. Chelsea worked her butt off and was by far, the best choice personality wise. You can always teach a person a skill like dancing, but you can NEVER teach personality and Chelsea had it in spades.
Yes! Thank goodness she is a horrible addition to a tallented group of females. going solo only shows how selfish and nieve she is. Too bad the runner up couldn’t step up in to the PCDs open slot.. she was more deserving.

Asia is immature and has major anger issues! The dolls probably got fed up with her mouth and told her how it is! She couldn’t handle it. Good luck to the foul mouthed girl in her solo career!
i liked asia but from the start of the show i wanted chelsea to win. asia quitting just goes to show that chelsea deserved the spot a lot more than asia. but i love both girls =]

Asia wouldn’t have fit in w/ the other dolls anyway. Asia was a little more on the ghetto fabulous side.
If that is her choice I wish her all the best. I was hopping she would win and I hope that she has a fab career. And shame on everyone who is talking bad about her you don’t know what it was like being in that group. They may have never really accepted her as a member of the group you never know.

Asia had a major personality disorder. Someone like that can never work with a group. I can’t believe Robin couldn’t see that…she isn’t a psychologist but you would think she would have basic people sense.
Simply, wow. It’s really naive of her to just give it all up. She should’ve quit during the show. She shattered the dreams of the other girls who really really wants it. If she was unsure, she shouldn’t have auditioned or gone through the process. Anyway, I was against her winning. She isn’t the best vocalist, there are far better contestants on the show.

I was so excited when asia won, I cant believe she would quit, I think she deserved it over all the rest of the girls, She was way better and worked twice as hard, I cried when she won, I was so excited. Who cares if she had a baby at 16, A lot of other teens have kids at that age so dont judge her, its the whole world thats having kids at a young age. I was 18 when I had my first and I think being a young mom is wayyyyyyyy better.

i personally think that Asia freaking rocked… and that she would be better as a soloist because, it was her decision. In my opinion Asia was the best choice, Chelsea would’ve been chosen if she had as much or more talent than Asia. But personally I think Asia will blossom as a solo artist and I can’t wait to see if she produces an album!!!

Im not really a fan of reality shows but i think the best person won. All the girls were very talented but the person with the best voice and skills won. People just need to stop being so hateful and judgemental and support those who take time out of their busy schedule with family and friends to have the guts and come in front of the world and persue a dream they always wanted to accomplish.

Clearly planned so they could have a 2nd series. Stuff always ‘goes wrong’ at the end of these things so they can have an excuse to milk the proverbial cow. Just look at that tila tequila thing. And probably hundreds of other US reality tv shows I havn’t heard of too.

I kinda’ liked Asia. But i really liked Chelsea. I kinda found Asia should of stayed home with her daughter instead of leaving for months to go pursue a hot music group.
