Monday August 20, 2007
CBS has released details about the upcoming season of Survivor. Here's what you need to know about Survivor: China's twists and turns.
- Sixteen castaways will start out in downtown Shanghai. They will attend a Buddhist ceremony, where they will be instructed to leave all of their worldly possessions behind.
- The castaways will go to two separate islands on Zhelin Lake, which is located in China's Jiangxi Province. They will split into two tribes -- Fei Long (Flying Dragon) and Zhan Hu (Fighting Tiger).
-
The castaways will not realize it, but there will be a Hidden Immunity Idol in plain sight at each camp.
-
Each week, the tribe that wins the Reward Challenge will be allowed to kidnap someone from the losing tribe. The kidnapped castaway will stay with the enemy tribe until the next Immunity Challenge.
-
Jeff Probst will give the kidnap victim a note and instruct him or her to choose one member of the enemy tribe to give it to. The note will contain a clue about the whereabouts of the Hidden Immunity Idol.
