One good thing could come out of the television writers strike -- more unscripted TV shows for us reality TV fans! There's already good news for fans of summer reality favorite Big Brother. Variety.com is reporting that the ninth season of the show -- which will possibly be the show's first celebrity edition -- may premiere as early as February. Since Big Brother airs three times per week, the network would be filling three hours of primetime programming with just one show. Smart move!

I heard that the tv writers strike was also affecting so called “reality” tv shows. Apparently they still need the writers to craft the storyline and make the shows interesting. Do you have any insight on that?
