Helio Castroneves is the Dancing With the Stars Winner

Race car driver Helio Castroneves is the winner of Dancing With the Stars 5! Helio, who had no performing experience before signing up for the show, outdanced Spice Girl Melanie Brown to win the show's shiny disco ball trophy on Tuesday night.
It came down to Helio, Melanie, and entertainer/doll designer Marie Osmond in the finals. But Marie, who gave a much-criticized, doll-themed performance on Monday, ended up being the first finalist eliminated during the live finale. No surprise there!
Helio's win makes him the fourth male celebrity in a row to win Dancing With the Stars. Even though it would have been nice to see a woman win it all, there's no doubt that Helio deserved his big win. Partnered with last year's champion Julianne Hough, the always-smiling race car driver sped to the finals by delivering entertaining, challenging performances every week.
