America's Top Dog and Secret Talents of the Stars Coming to CBS

Monday January 14, 2008
Is CBS barking up the wrong tree by looking for its next big reality stars among the canine population? The network is going forward with a reality show tentatively titled America's Top Dog.

According to CBS, "America's Top Dog is a new one hour-long series where 'man's best friend' can help its owner win big money! Owners and their pets - from 'pageant dogs' to those dogs simply trained at home - will live together and battle it out in a dog competition that puts the dog's relationship with the person who has raised and trained it to the test. In the end, only one team of loving owner and faithful dog will emerge the winner in this dog-eat-dog competition!"

Actually, it will probably be fun to see pets on reality TV. But if you have no interest in watching dogs compete, how about watching some celebrities battle it out? The network is planning another series titled Secret Talents of the Stars.

The network explains that Secret Talents of the Stars is a biweekly celebrity talent show that will "uncover some of the most fascinating and unique secret talents of your favorite film and television stars, whether it be singing, dancing, magic or even acrobatics. Celebrities will compete in a tournament-structured format to determine who has the best hidden talent. Each performance will include a lineup of professional judges to provide their point of view - but it's the viewers who get to vote for which celebrity impressed them the most. In the results show, viewers' votes determine which celebrity gets to keep showing off their talent and who must go home."

D-list stars juggling and tap-dancing on TV? I can hardly wait!

I just finished watching the show and i was so angry!!!!! they sent a ladie home who needed a second chance to prove herself and they kicked her and her wondeful dog off the show.!!!! i thought that the lady that started talking back should have went because she didn’t take critism and it proved that she wasn’t trying to here her mistakes. You know i thought this show was better than that. already know noone black is going to WIN!!! Please excuse my misspelling.

I think that its a great show. I would rather watch people who love their dogs instead of another who’s gonna screw who over reality show. People rule the world we live in and in case you haven’t noticed; its going to hell in a hand bag!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Keep up the good work….but judge better next time TILLMAN was a great dog( they all are) its the owners that stink. The judges should have kicked off the lady who with Leroy, and while they are at it….find him a new owner!!!!
