Bobby Brown, Sisqo, Dee Snider, and Others Go Country On New CMT Reality Show
If you're not a regular Country Music Television viewer, you might not have heard about Gone Country, which premieres Friday at 8 pm ET. It's a new reality show that sounds like its worth checking out -- even if you're not a country music fan. Here's the premise, according to CMT: Bobby Brown on reality TV again? Thong Song crooner Sisqo singing country music? Okay. I'm programming my Tivo right now! And why in the world is Maureen "Marcia Brady" McCormick on this show?Gone Country uproots seven musical celebrities (Bobby Brown, Carnie Wilson, Dee Snider, Diana DeGarmo, Julio Iglesias Jr, Maureen McCormick and Sisqo) and moves them into a Nashville mansion together to embark on a two-week adventure, hosted by singer/songwriter John Rich. Each celebrity is paired up with some of Nashville's finest songwriters in an attempt to prepare them for a career in country music. In each episode, the cast competes against each other in challenges that will test them musically and physically to adapt to a country music lifestyle, both on and off the stage. At the end of the two weeks, the artist that is most prepared to impress a country audience, as determined by Rich, will record and release a song.

Why is Maureen McCormick on the show?! You should only be asking this question if you are a kid in elementary school, or been living under a rock! Maureen wrote a country album, released in 1995, called “When You Get A Little Lonely”, plus the title country song for her movie “Texas Lightning”. Finally, she has always had a beautiful singing voice, even during her Brady years!
Ontop of all that, she’s got a beautiful inner spirit, personality and is still very cute looking!!!!!!!!!!!
Guess my question is answered, then! Thanks for the comment.
Even though I’m not in elementary school or living under a rock, I didn’t associate Maureen McCormick with music and thought at first that she stood out among the recording artists participating on the show.

My sister also noted that Maureen was picked by country singing legend Barbara Mandrell to play her in the tv movie version of her life.
