The Naked Truth About American Idol's David Hernandez

It's that time again! It's time for the media to start digging in the pasts of the American Idol Top 24 with the hopes of finding something scandalous. Last year, contestant Antonella Barba's naughty college photos made headlines for a couple weeks. This year, a male contestant is in the news because of his former job as a nude dancer.David Hernandez was a performer at a Phoenix strip club for three years. The nightclub's manager spoke to the press about his former employee, and now people want to know if David's past job will affect his American Idol future.
Idol's executive producer Ken Warwick told TVGuide.com "It won't make any difference. The truth is, we're never judgmental about what people do to earn a living. They've got to put food in people's mouths. We've had strippers on the show before. Nikki McKibbon was one in [Season] 1. We're never judgmental about people who do things like that. If it were some sort of heavy porn, then maybe we'd have to take action. But certainly not on this."
Now, will the studio audience start chanting "take it off" when David performs from now on?

let him sing, people sometimes do what they have to to make ends meet, this does not make him a bad person and he Can sing!
FANTASTIC! I loved the guy for his singing FIRST (one of the best voices ever in AI history), but now, OMG – the fantasies have not stopped! If only I were a pole for him to swing on – he would defintely get my 20 dollar bills! I hope he stays for a long long time.
