Mario was eliminated from Dancing With the Stars on Tuesday night, leaving celebrities Jason Taylor, Kristi Yamaguchi, Marissa Jaret Winokur, and Cristian De La Fuente to battle it out in the semifinals next week. Mario, who often received harsh (sometimes undeserved) criticism from judge Len Goodman, thanked his harshest critic for helping him become a better ballroom dancer.  Well, at least he wasn't bitter.

Mario was eliminated during a special episode for DWTS.  The show celebrated its 100th episode by bringing back some of the most memorable celebrity dancers from past seasons. I enjoyed seeing folks like Jerry Springer, Kelly Monaco, and Apolo Anton Ohno back on the Dancing set again. And it was fun to take a stroll down memory lane as the stars looked back at some of the most memorable performances from the first five seasons. I had forgotten about moments like Kelly Monaco's wardrobe malfunction during season one!
