"Monkey, Will You Marry Me?" -- Bachelor Matt Grant Chooses Shayne Lamas
Matt Grant and Shayne Lamas are the latest Bachelor couple! (Let's just hope this one lasts.) Matt proposed to Shayne on Monday night's season finale of The Bachelor: London Calling, much to the disappointment of Chelsea, who heard the dreaded you're-great-but-you're-not-the-one speech on a beach in Barbados.
After the ladies visited Matt's parents in London and had their final dates in Barbados, Matt decided he had a stronger connection with Shanye, who wore her heart on her sleeve throughout the competition. The 22-year-old daughter of actor Lorenzo Lamas had seemed a bit spoiled in the beginning. But she quickly won Matt over and stole the British bachelor's heart. "She doesn't have a selfish bone in her body," Matt said of his little "monkey" during the finale.
"Monkey, will you marry me?" he asked, before presenting her with a diamond ring. Shayne happily said yes before delivering this memorable line:
"I will marry you under one condition -- that you'll never look at another woman for the rest of our lives. Because you've looked at way too many during our relationship!"

We could see the chemistry and got to know the young woman and grew to love her along with Matt, his brother and his parents!
Congratulations. Most likely they’ll have their wedding on TV like the other couple. I also think that they both have such diversity in their personalities and backrounds to keep it interesting.

I was very disappointed with the outcome. I clearly believe that while Shayne is beautiful and a neat girl, she is too young for Matt. She just seems like she is acting out every scene like a part from a movie. I hope I am wrong though.
I did not like Shayne at all. I just saw her as inauthentic. My favorite was Amand.
Monkey on the other hand is just looking to jump start her acting career. Up until now her greatest role was bikini girl #5. So she got two for one - a man and her name on the map as well.
You could see from the start the connection between these two, Shayne and Matt, the way they would look into each other’s eyes, seemed very genuine. I wish these two the best.
Matt & Shayne are adorable.. We love her!!! We wish them the best of luck.. It is so cute that he calls her monkey.. She is just so little & adorable.. BEST OF LUCK TO YOU BOTH!!
Are you kidding me……I give it about a month, once the cameras are gone Shanye won’t have anyone one to act for.
