I’m sorry Tyra Banks is losing me as a fan. She makes not want to watch the show. A “transgendered” contestant on ANTM? Is that serious? So this is what the world is coming down to? I hope he or she or ‘it’, gets the boot fast! He has no business being amongst all those girls. What a turn off, he has got to go.
Lena, that is a ridiculous comment. Why shouldn’t a transgendered person be allowed on the show? If she identifies herself as a woman and is confident enough to enter despite narrow minded individuals calling her an ‘it’ and giving her grief, then go her!
Personally, I don’t have a problem with it, nor does my husband. This is America. If a female had a mastectomy, would you want to disqualify HER?Things we shouldn’t be open minded about are tolerated and those issues that are common sense and respectful of the human condition are quibbled and fought about.
Go figure.
Let’s not forget Laverne on “Who wants to Work for Diddy?” She’s fierce and I am rooting for her to win it all!!!!
I agree with Lena, ‘it’ should not be on the show. Really, it’s like an insult on real women. A real girl could of had that chance, so basically this is another stunt to please GlAAD, which are nothing more than an organization of PAIN IN THE ASSES all over again.
Lena and Gina, it scares me to read these kind of intolerant comments. Just when you thought the world was making progress. To call a human being “it”. You just sound ignorant. I’ll say this, if the model does get booted, I would hope it’s based on talent, not intolerance.
I would not go as far as calling Isis an “it” however the situation does not bode well with me. I mean seriously you are male if you were born with the male parts. Even so the nasty comments made by the freaky-haired, yellow dress wearing girl and the others was nasty and did nothing to make them look less than dumb-blond wanna-be’s and idiots. Isis came across as being vulnerable with a damn good picture. Hell of a publicity stunt Tyra, but you guys are Americans.
