Catching Up With Bo Bice

To celebrate the latest season of American Idol Rewind , I've been catching up with some of the most memorable contestants from the third and fourth seasons of American Idol. One of those unforgettable contestants is Bo Bice, the first rocker to make it to the Idol finale when he faced off with country star Carrie Underwood during season four. This week, Bo fills us in on what he's been up to lately. Here's what he had to say via email:

What are you up to these days?
I’ve been on the road for most of 2008 in support of my current album, "See The Light." I’ve also been on a two week tour in Afghanistan and Kuwait in support of the troops. And when I’m not doing that, I am spending time with my family and new baby boy. There is also a live CD ready for pre-order at BoBice.com in December.

Do you have any regrets about your time on the show?
Not a single one!

Do you keep in touch with other contestants?
Anthony Fedorov keeps in touch with everyone and I stay in touch through him mostly. Scott Saville and Constantine are people I mostly talk to from my season, but I also talk to other Idol alumni.

Do you still tune in every season?
Last season, when David Cook won, was the first season I really tuned in to watch. I was on the road too much the other years. I was proud to see David Cook bring it home for the rockers. He rocks!

What advice do you have for future Idol contestants?
Know that the last day of your American Idol experience is the first day of a lot of hard work. Sometimes people think that they’ve made it once they get on the show, but it is after the season is over that it really kicks into high gear. This is when you spend time honing your craft as an artist and performer.
