I’m completely knocked out by Adam Lambert’s talent and creativity. He is shades of David Bowie and Freddie Mercury, but incredibly current and fresh. Count me as a fan!
Love, love, love, love Adam! I didn’t think I was going to watch AI this year because for me, David Cook was my favorite Idol and I couldn’t imagine me liking someone else as much. Adam has surpassed David Cook! I look forward to every performance because it’s like watching a short rock show.

UGH!! I can’t stand Adam! He is such a phony! I just don’t get why everyone likes him so much. Danny Gokey is light years better than Adam and he is REAL. Adam doesn’t have a bad voice, I just can’t get past how fake he is. GO DANNY!!
I never thought I could ever like anyone better than Carrie Underwood or David Cook but guess what? I Love Adam and I also love Danny! I don’t agree with the person that thinks Adam is a phoney. I think he looks very appreciative and very sincere!
You know, during the audition process and Hollywood week I wasn’t sold on Adam. I thought he came across as theatrical and fake. But he has totally won me over. I’d be happy if either he or the young rocker chick win this season.
I also don’t agree that he is a fake. He loves dressing up and has been like that all his life. Also, i find this claim quite ridiculous. Performers perform, they put on an act. Some of them tap into a different personality when on stage. When I go to a show I love the dance and the theatrics. I am thrilled that AI found something that can sing, dance, be so versatile and theatrical– YET still be true to himself.
Why has it taken so long for Adam to be discovered? This man is amazing with talent that I haven’t seen in years. I cannot wait for his first album. The sound of his voice haunts me on those ballads. I get goose bumps when he sings. I found myself humming “Mad World” for days. I kept going back to listen again and again to the video.
He also strikes me as a beautiful person who has worked his butt off to be discovered.
I can’t wait to see how his career develops. I predict a long, long career if he plays his cards right and doesn’t succumb to the folly of most entertainers.
Yes, Adam is in my opinion the best contestant ever in the history of American Idol. His talent transcends race, gender and anything else. I constantly watch on my DVR his performances over and over again. His vocal talent is in a league of its own, I kind of feel sorry for the other contestants because they pale in comparison whenever Adam is on.

I honestly believe that Adam is the BEST CONTESTANT in the history of American Idol and he seriously challenges also others (not only ones on this show) with his absolutely brilliant performances! He is refreshing, incredibly tallented, his vocals are out of this world, his texture of his voice has no comparrision, and he is current. FOR ME – ADAM IS THE BEST PERFORMER – and I forsee a great future for him – becoming a music legend (hopefully others see his huge talent and support him with as brilliant team as he is! BRAVO ADAM! THANK YOU FOR BEING YOU!

i think he is the best contestant THIS SEASON, because the best contestant EVER is DAVID COOK!, DC is a real artist, he is a composer, change arrangement, sing every genre, one of the best performer, can act, dance.. meanwhile adam is a very amazing singer/performer, and sometimes too much theatrical.

HAWT, HAWT, HAWT. GREAT, GREAT, GREAT. I’m 35 yrs. old and Adam Lambert is the BEST so far in my lifetime! Hands down. I ABSOLUTELY love him; his personality, style, hair, clothes, teeth, smile, eyes, and most of all his VOICE! Ever since his 1st audition, he had me, totally. I can’t STOP LISTENING & watching (over & over) his songs & videos. I don’t care, but he is BEYOND American Idol, way BEYOND. He is so extremely famous already, thanks to his UNBEATABLE PERFORMANCES! Elvis, Michael Jackson, Madonna…NOW ADAM! woo-hooo!
He is interesting to watch, mature, consistent, full of talents and creativity.

And yes, with such talent, clearly not everyone will like him. Some people just cannot stand others to be that good and prefer the average comfortable guy on the block that they can identify to.

I don’t think that he is a phony, but I would never buy anything that he records. That is a fact! Just feel as though he tortures the original artists of the songs that he performs. Tragic….
Adam is the most…what do people want this guy has it all, talent, great looks, changeable from week to week and does not stay in the safe zone with all of his songs…We don’t need another Taylor Hicks or one that doesn’t change there music….
Adam is like Simon he knows what to do to entertain and Simon knows how to judge them…

while I think adam has talent, I don’t think its fair that the judges have already picked him to win. They tell the other contestants that they are the same week to week in a bad way, but Adam comes in and sings like a girl and screetches each and every week. And, why are they trying to make the flamer a mans man. PUH LEEz.
Adam is versatile, creative and a superstar in the making. He handles himself exceptionally well on stage, he is humble and the camera loves him. He is a standout in this competition and his performances compare very favourably to previous idols. I cant wait till he comea back next season to perform as the winner of Season 8. I went to Woodstock. So I’m old enough to have seen a lot of newcomers come and go. And it’s been a long, long time since I’ve seen anyone with as much talent, versatility, creativity AND charisma as Adam Lambert. Like others, I was skeptical in the beginning, thinking he was just a pretty face. But having watched all his performances on AI and all the nightclub and theater videos on YouTube, I believe that he is the real deal: someone with amazing talent who was born to entertain. I predict he’ll be a star of the silver screen, concert and theater stage.

I’ve been in the music bisness for years and I know talent when I see it and let me say. Adam shows it week by week. Great my friend.
The thing people have to realize is that Adam has broadway background and grew up in a very liberal part of the country. So he will have a LOT of varied influences from Frank Sinatra to Marilyn Manson. As an actor, he can take all of those roles into himself and exude them singularly or all of them as a whole. He is a very dynamic personality and a powerful presence. Also, whether you like his voice or not, he knows his instrument from top to bottom. I know intricately his strengths and weaknesses. He also know what people want to hear and see..they want to experience the simultaneously flamboyant and over the top look and sound in one package. Whether you like him or not, he delivers that package very well. Everyone wants to see what he’s going to do next and if he’s going to fall on his face. That’s how you develop a fan base. Good, bad or otherwise..Fans are fans. Money is money. Fame is Fame.

I am a very contempoary 67 year old and have watched and voted in every AI show since it’s inception. I loved David Cooke, but Adam lambert is in a class by himself. I can’t wait for his first album and tour. I truly believe that he will rapidly become one of the top rock stars in the world. It would not surprise me if he also makes a slow album. With his range and style, anything is possible.
