Did their hit reality show Jon & Kate Plus 8 contribute to the demise of Jon and Kate Gosselin's marriage? Kate Gosselin says no.

During an appearance on NBC's Today Show, Kate said her marriage would have probably ended with or without cameras. "Was [our divorce] a product of the show? I feel like it would have happened anyway - cameras on or cameras off," she said.

Kate also stood by her decision to keep filming the show. "Everybody has to work," she said. "Everybody has a job. Ours is a very unique job."

Kate also discussed Jon's new relationship with the 23-year-old daughter of a family friend. "I was shocked," she said..."To be very honest, that's his life and they don't affect me directly at this point."

But Kate says Jon's decisions do affect their eight children. "To be very honest, the most hurtful part is when his decisions directly affect our children. That's the hardest part for me," she said. "They're his decisions; they might not be ones that I would make."
