Rocker turned reality star Bret Michaels is in critical condition after suffering a massive brain hemorrhage, People.com reports. His condition is being described as touch and go and a source tells People he is under intense observation.
The cause of Bret's subarachnoid hemorrhage, which means bleeding at the base of the brain stem, is not known.
This is the Rock of Love star's second hospitalization in the month of April. He underwent an emergency appendectomy on April 12. After leaving the hospital, Bret said he could have died if his appendix had ruptured.
Bret, who starred in the VH1 dating competition Rock of Love, is currently seen on the third season of Celebrity Apprentice. While taping the show, Bret received bad news that his daughter was ill and she was being tested for diabetes. His emotional response moved many viewers to tears.
