Dancing with the Stars 2010 Lineup For Season 11 Revealed

From Latoya West, About.com GuideAugust 30, 2010

Follow me on:

The Dancing with the Stars 2010 lineup for season 11 has been revealed, ending weeks of speculation about which celebrities would be tangoing their way to reality TV stardom during the fall 2010 season. The press-conference style announcement was made during Monday night's episode of Bachelor Pad, with Tom Bergeron and Brooke Burke revealing the celebrities in front of a live studio audience .  So, who is in the Dancing with the Stars lineup this season?  Here's the list of celebs:

The Women

Reality star Audrina Patridge

Singer/actress Brandy

"Dirty Dancing"  actress Jennifer Grey

Comedian Margaret Cho

"Brady Bunch" mom Florence Henderson

Sarah Palin's daughter Bristol Palin

The Men

Singer Michael Bolton

Mike  "The Situation" Sorrentino

Actor David Hasselhoff

NFL quarterback Kurt Warner

Actor Kyle Massey

NBA star/actor Rick Fox

The stars also appeared on stage to answer a few questions about joining the cast. "My two daughters love this show and they convinced me, 'Dad you have to go for it,'" David Hasselhoff said. Speaking of family support, Bristol Palin spoke about her mother Sarah Palin's reaction to her joining the show. "She's excited for me," Bristol said. "She knows that this is going to be hard work but she's  excited."  During the Q&A session, actress Jennifer Grey explained that she doesn't have an advantage because of her work on Dirty Dancing. "I'm 50...it's been a lot of years since then," she said.

Michael Bolton and Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino were the only stars missing from the  live announcement. Mike Sorrentino is currently filming the Jersey Shore, and he will reportedly miss one week of rehearsals because of his commitment to the show.

Thoughts: What do you think of the new cast? Who are you most excited about? Let us know in the comments!

This is the worst cast I have ever seen! Who picks these people…really?!

Can’t say I’m thrilled with the cast. I guess time will tell.

don’t know half of them. not very excited.

(4) Dancing Fan says:

Doesn’t look like a good line up. Don’t know if I can watch Flo and David.

August 30, 2010 at 10:20 pm
(5) Cynthia Bernat says:

Bristol Palin is a star because…she’s been in the news for being a teenage mom?
I have no political thoughts at all, but I don’t see her as a star.

September 21, 2010 at 1:29 pm
(6) And... says:

So what you’re sayin’ is The Situation and Audrina Partridge ARE stars? Just because someone’s on TV doesn’t mean they’re stars. Local newscasters aren’t stars. People in commercials aren’t stars (yeah, some become stars, but they aren’t yet). Bristol Palin isn’t the only reason that the upcoming season sucks with a capital S–EVERYbody in the lineup is the reason! There’s not one person whose worth watching, not ONE. So Bristol is no less interesting or a star them any of the rest of them. (Pretty ugly cast too, BTW.)

August 30, 2010 at 10:26 pm
(7) Ken says:

What a terrible list of stars. They have totally reached the bottom. Not sure if even worth watching.

August 30, 2010 at 10:27 pm
(8) Amy says:

Not impressed with this line-up. I’m a big fan. But not sure I’m excited about this season.

August 30, 2010 at 10:27 pm
(9) tootall says:

Kyle Massey! I grew up watching That’s So Raven! so it will be cool to see him on tv again.

August 30, 2010 at 10:29 pm
(10) Christy says:

I don’t know like 3/4 of them. And I agree, Bristol Palin isn’t a star. They could have picked much better “stars”, not pleased at all.

September 28, 2010 at 12:37 am
(11) CJ6 says:

I think they put Bristol on in order to get her mom in the audience for free. I think it is cheap publisty and I think it is kind of cheapens the show- almost as much as putting whats her name, the former winner, Brook? on as a super super terrible host/mc. The show may have run its course because they are scrapping the bottom of the barrel on many fronts.

August 30, 2010 at 10:29 pm
(12) RN says:

Who picked these people? Bristol Palin? Really? The girl is such a bad role model for young girls her age. What a poor selection. And, who are these people. The only name I recognize is Florence Henderson and Kurt Warner. I think I will sit this season out. I hope they get it together for next year.

August 31, 2010 at 11:11 am
(13) k says:

Brisol Palin is a sweet girl and you are all a bunch of haters.

September 20, 2010 at 11:16 pm
(14) Rand says:

So sweet that she got knocked up out of wedlock at an too early age, ok if you say so, but she is no star and no positive role model in my eyes, not one I would want for my child anyway.

September 29, 2010 at 10:46 am
(15) K says:

sweet little whore, that is…

September 24, 2010 at 10:21 am
(16) Mary UK says:

Maybe if she had had an abortion you would find Bristol acceptable, i would worry about what a bad example YOU are to your kids and leave Bristol Palin alone!!!

August 30, 2010 at 10:43 pm
(17) Jackie says:

This line up is terrible!! How did they place Bristol on this show!!! She is not a star, she has nothing to offer anyone. Why did they pick her? Is it because she a had a baby and they saying it okay to have a baby at 17..She is not a role model.. I will not watch !!!!

August 30, 2010 at 10:48 pm
(18) kristine says:

pretty bad!!!!

August 30, 2010 at 11:14 pm
(19) julia says:

Uck! I think I will be tuning into something else this year!

August 30, 2010 at 11:26 pm
(20) Ben says:

So the term “stars” was always dubious – but SERIOUSLY??? Where did they dig up this cast!?!?!?

August 30, 2010 at 11:43 pm
(21) Tanna says:

Not a good cast at all. Sounds boring to me. Oh well I’ll just have to find something else to watch.

August 30, 2010 at 11:51 pm
(22) Mary says:

This line up really sucks I love watching Dancing with the stars but this cast is the worst one of all.

August 31, 2010 at 1:24 am
(23) Tami says:

Dancing with the STARS???? how about “Dancing with People You Might Have Heard Of” Half of these certainly AREN’T Stars!!

August 31, 2010 at 2:27 am
(24) Cynthia says:

Wow!! These are some pretty cruel comments. I’m guessing the producers try their best to get big celebrities but get turned down on occasion, ya think? Besides, if I haven’t heard of one of the celebrity, I learn more about them during the show. I have the past seasons and ended up pleasantly surprised with great dancing and adorable personalities. Most work pretty darn hard to learn to dance. Relax and enjoy the process.
geez

September 21, 2010 at 1:57 pm
(25) Maria H says:

Your Right, just enjoy the show. The only one I don’t think should be there is Bristol Palin, being that she is not anywhere never being a star. Just a teenage who had a baby at 17 and has a famous mom.

August 31, 2010 at 6:48 am
(26) Connie says:

If you don’t know who any of these people are, wow you must be really young!

We know that this show is not really about big stars…it’s all about has beens and wanna be’s getting chance to do somthing fun, try and revive their careers and get the world to love them again.

Why add Bristol Palin….for the exact reaction that they are getting….everyone is talking about it. This is the controversy that makes people curious enough to tune in….it’s like the Jerry Springer Syndrome…it’s awful but you can’t help watching.

I think the line up is ok and as always should prove very interesting. I,ll definately be watching this season

August 31, 2010 at 7:05 am
(27) evie says:

I think this is the worst line up to date. David Hasselhoff, really? I don’t think I want to watch this year.

August 31, 2010 at 8:29 am
(28) Joel says:

Let me just echo a lot of the other posters here by saying, “This line up sucks.” Even my mom, a huge DWTS fan, is probably not going to watch these people– and I use the term “people” loosely for some of these. Jennifer Grey, Margaret Cho, Kurt Warner, Florence Henderson, Brandy and a few others are fine. If the show featured them, I could put up with the drunken trainwreck that is the Hoff for the freak factor.

But some self-aggrandizing clown from that nightmarish “Jersey Shore?” A politician’s daughter? Some other reality “star?” My distaste for those three overwhelms my goodwill towards the rest of the cast– and I agree the “Stars” part of the title has always been dubious. But adding two reality losers and a nobody whose mom is famous for polarizing the country completely rewrites the dictionary. Atrocious.

(29) jasmine says:

YAY I cant agree more! thank you for not being another sheep fallowing the hurd off the cliff of ignorance.

August 31, 2010 at 9:28 am
(30) Kathy says:

A few years ago a friend said to me, “Who are the Stars?” Now, he can rightfully ask that question!! This is not just a “D” list–it is a “Z” list. Zeros. I don’t see me really loving any of them, like I did Emmit, Kristi, Evan, Drew LaShay. It just doesn’t sound like any of them have that WOW factor, but then neither did Kelly Osbourne and she really won me over.

August 31, 2010 at 9:30 am
(31) Melissa says:

Very unsure about the cast this season. Not sure who votes for them, or selects them, but it will def. Be a tough season. I think you should have one season where you have non celebrity dancers with the REAL stars of the show…the REAL dancers! Oh, and def. Have Anna and Patrick on the show, they are truly AMAZING! Just to see them dance and be so spot on would def. Be an inspiration to your “celebrities”!

August 31, 2010 at 11:49 am
(32) Tracy says:

Seems like they are having trouble finding stars – what does Bristol Palin have to do with stardom? Noone on the list that are going to make me want to watch.

August 31, 2010 at 12:43 pm
(33) M says:

Get over yourselves. Watch it or don’t. The show has always had a variety of people from very famous to not so much so… Not like this is the first season.. Look back over all the other season, you can always ask yourself why them?? If you like the show, you’ll watch it… OR DON’T..

August 31, 2010 at 1:49 pm
(34) L.W. says:

Literally went from one the best cast last season to the worst this season!!!

August 31, 2010 at 2:35 pm
(35) Bev says:

Not thrilled with star lineup as yet, not many real “stars” might miss some shows, hopefully might be surprised by some of so called “stars” disappointed in lineup!!!!

August 31, 2010 at 2:50 pm
(36) Franny Syufy says:

My hubby and I watched DWTS for several seasons, and I know he’d be rolling over in his grave to see this year’s lineup. I may watch the first show or two, primarily to see Brandy, Flo, and Jennifer, who was unforgettable in Dirty Dancing. But Palin???

Forget the “stars!” Show us the professional partners. If I do watch DWTS this season it will primarily be to watch them. Now *there* is the real talent.

August 31, 2010 at 4:06 pm
(37) jennifer says:

AWFUL… dancing with people with no talent

August 31, 2010 at 5:02 pm
(38) Michael says:

Has this show become political? Why Bristol Palin? She is not a “star” and is a terrible role model. This gives Mommy Palin a forum that’s mainstream and thus makes her more credible.

August 31, 2010 at 6:09 pm
(39) Maureen says:

My husband have been faithfully watching this show since season one, but with this line up – I think you have lost us! More than 1/2 the list does not read star in my book. Bristol Palin oh yeah big star, great role model to my 16 year old daughter! It should be interesting how the team dances work out if the “Hoff” is still on – with his inflated ego (a.k.a fat head) there will be no room for anyone else on the dance floor!! Extremely poor casting!

August 31, 2010 at 6:28 pm
(40) rod says:

now I can watch NCIS with out taping it

August 31, 2010 at 7:40 pm
(41) Gail says:

I don’t see anything wrong with this line up. If you don’t know David or Jennifer, then you are either extremely young or have been living in a closet. It is sad that some have to rag on these people, I’d like to see you get out there and do this. I agree with Cynthia and Connie, and you might just get to know someone new. Besides if you can’t say something nice………….Don’t say anything at all.

August 31, 2010 at 8:34 pm
(42) jo says:

I totally agree about Bristol Palin; she is not a “star” and a terrible role model. Who picks them anyway. They can’t be that desparate.

August 31, 2010 at 8:40 pm
(43) zukki says:

BAD,BAD,BAD. Not even worth watching this year. This is the bottom of the barrel.Definitly not watching this year.

August 31, 2010 at 9:32 pm
(44) tina says:

awaaaa, come on people, this is exactly what Bristol needs, some growing up time with commitment and discipline, hard work and structure. She is toooo young to be having an on again/off again relationship with any man in her life. This might help her grow up and get away from the two biggest influences in her life. She can’t be any worst than Kate Gosslin but i wish her well. I bet she will blossom just like Kelly Osbourne did. Watch and see. Either you are a fan or you ain’t.
Having said all that, my vote is for Jennifer Grey.

August 31, 2010 at 10:51 pm
(45) Barb says:

I think it is fun to watch no matter who the “stars” are. Hey, there are always more seasons and more people. I start out not even knowing most of them but end up being interested in who they are. It’s entertainment. I find the choices kind of interesting. I give them credit for doing t. All those people watching and trying to dance like that is way beyond what I could do!

September 1, 2010 at 1:49 am
(46) Melinda says:

oh my gosh i am so excited to see Mike “the Situation” he is my all time favorite member of the Jersey Shore – cant wait to see him dance his 8 pack off! WOO HOO! and kinda interested to see David Hasseloff – should be some entertainmennt!!! as for the rest meh .. couldnt really care

September 1, 2010 at 2:56 am
(47) A big fan says:

Really? I see nothing wrong with this cast line up. First of all this show is about the entertainment factor. If it was about ability, we’d be watching a professional competetion. As for Briatol Palin, how about teaching your daughters they don’t need a role model but to be themselves or better yet YOU be the role model to your child..there’s a novel idea! With the amazing technology we have today if you don’t like it you can change the channel without ever leaving the couch!!!

September 24, 2010 at 10:30 am
(48) Mary UK says:

Bravo!!!! Common sense at last, It makes you wonder what kind of parents take pot shots at Bristol and call HER a bad role model!!! LAZY PARENTS be your own kids role model, I tend to teach my kids the compassioate route, the one that believes in second chances, forgiveness and the like, its a DANCING show FGS!!! its about NON dancers learning a new talent, UNLIKE last years debacle when a PRO dancer (Nicole) was “somehow” cast as a beginner and “won” FIX!!!

September 1, 2010 at 7:17 am
(49) Nancy says:

I love the lineup! Wont miss an episode! I love the professionals as well. Cant wait to watch. Going to be a great season!

September 1, 2010 at 9:00 am
(50) Lulu says:

Really??? Who are these people? I guess we should all give them a chance and enjoy the show. Maybe we will be eating crow at the end of the season. I wish them all the best.

September 1, 2010 at 1:20 pm
(51) Survivor49 says:

Are you kidding? The people chosen to dance on this new season are stars ( except Bristol ). Do you not watch basketball ( Rick Fox ), or the very talented Michael Bolten, or not ever watched the movie, Dirty Dancing ( Jenifer Gray ), or watched reruns of The Brady Bunch (Flo Henderson )? Ever listen to Brandy sing? Do people actually not know who Kurt Warner ( NFL quarterback ) is? People must be living under a rock. It will be quite entertaining to see what these people can do.

September 1, 2010 at 2:50 pm
(52) ashley says:

bristol palin is not a star! shes done nothing to be able to be called that.

September 1, 2010 at 3:01 pm
(53) harriet says:

The problem with the lineup is that it has no excitement factor. People tune in for humor and talent such as the case with Nicole’s win last year and watching Jerry Springer or Cloris Leachmen.
They should have booked Ali from The Bachelorette or Joan Rivers. Bristol has nothing to offer in the entertainment factor, and that unfortunately is the problem with the lineup. There is no excitement factor.. It could be worse. They could be running against American Idol.

September 1, 2010 at 3:44 pm
(54) Ted says:

A punk (Mike), a 16 years old mom..are they really the stars ?
Stars of what ? These guys are in for the notoriety !

The show has just sunk to the new low..I might watch it for the sake of watching Brook Burke

September 1, 2010 at 3:58 pm
(55) CJ says:

I think you are all being very unkind to a young lady who made the best of a difficult situation. AND it could happen to you or your daughter. Don’t throw stones if you live in a glass house – and you could be living in a glass house!!! Shame on all of you!!!!

September 1, 2010 at 5:28 pm
(56) Lionel Mugrich says:

They didn’t just put nail in their coffin this time, it’s a railroad spike. A washed up drunk, a bottom feeding teenage single mother, and a bunch of no names. Michael Bolton will probably hang in, not because he’ll dance all that well, but because he’s Michael Bolton. Maybe you’ll watch just to see him. Jennifer Grey, how desparate can you get? Nooooobody I know will watch this crap!

September 2, 2010 at 8:55 am
(57) grace-ful says:

This is about entertainment! DWTS tries to get celebrities from all different fields and the respective pro dancers train them the technique of ballroom dancing. The fun begins when the stars are starting to practice. Some have talents for dancinig and if they don’t, then, they try their best. That is the entertaining part. The pros make them look good. Just watch the first week. And it doesn’t appeal or entertain you then switch to another channel.

September 2, 2010 at 4:20 pm
(58) Ctd says:

Weak celebrities this year – like to see better women chosen to represent.

September 2, 2010 at 4:45 pm
(59) jasmine says:

this show is starting to turn into a joke. I love this show but the celebs being put on are far from stars even..if this show wants to stay true to there name “danceing with the “STARS” they need to find some real celebs and not turn this show into a mockery of ball room danceing.

September 2, 2010 at 7:56 pm
(60) Vicky says:

I thought they had scraped the bottom of the barrel two years ago…guess not…Bristol Palin?? Really??

September 2, 2010 at 10:58 pm
(61) Lisa says:

Commenting on a post I just read “this show is starting to turn into a joke” – really? This isn’t a serious show, but here to entertain. It’s not supposed to make you think or broaden your horizons, it’s a fun no thinking necessary show. Perfect way to unwind after a hard day, with a couple of glasses of wine.

September 2, 2010 at 11:54 pm
(62) cg says:

The “stars” are an interesting bunch. Hopefully better than last season. Let’s just hope the judges don’t pick their favorites right off the bat. Last season, you knew immediately who was going to win the competition whether they were the best or not.

September 3, 2010 at 2:00 pm
(63) Tammy says:

I am not sure would have loved to see Sly fo rthe men I am really not ultimately impressed…. even the women…not sure I am excited for Jennifer Gray but Sarah Pallin…i think that is a joke ..the show is called Dancing with the Stars …last time I checked shje is not a start she is the daughter of a political figure…anyway…thats all I have to say

September 3, 2010 at 7:56 pm
(64) Brandy says:

This line up straight up sucks! Really Palins daughter? What importance has she done to be considered a star? Got Prego at a young age… if so then i gots some famous ppl in my school! But I do have to agree to one KURT WARNER! I don’t care how old he gets he is sooooo SEXII!!!! He is seriously the only reason I am gonna watch this season….Im really prayin for “The Situation” to be off first…

September 5, 2010 at 9:18 pm
(65) MB says:

Most of you have been extremely cruel, harsh and judgemental on Bristol Palin. Are you perfect? It is time to back off of this young girl. Yes, she made a mistake, but apparently she is trying to do the right thing by her son. How would you like your worst mistake to be aired all over the world???? That was not fair to her and I think she’s handled it quite well.
As far as the show goes — You have a choice – if you don’t like the line up – don’t watch the show!

September 7, 2010 at 7:48 pm
(66) Wendy says:

Why does Derrick always get the top contender? Why do they always give the ones who don’t have a snowballs chance in h*ll to anyone EXCEPT Derrick? Just doesn’t seem fair!

September 7, 2010 at 7:56 pm
(67) mandy says:

I totally agree Wendy! It’s not fair, his job is always so much easier because he has the best dancer. Give somebody else a shot!!!

September 7, 2010 at 7:58 pm
(68) mandy says:

I totally agree Wendy! It makes his job so much easier because he always gets the best dancer! Give somebody else a shot!!

September 8, 2010 at 4:09 pm
(69) JOEYYYYYYYYYYYY says:

Despite of all the negativity in comments that I have read regarding this years dancing star cast, I totally disagree. I am looking so forward to watching all the cast and believe this will be one of the best show of all the previous seasons. The selective stars chosen are superb and I believe they will be very competative. What I would give just to be a guest for just one of the show. I have not missed one season and I don’t intend to now.

September 10, 2010 at 10:33 pm
(70) coolcat says:

Can’t wait to see Michael Bolten on the dance floor. It will be interesting to see Jennifer Gray dance at age 50. She was so wonderful in “Dirty Dancing”…and what about Margaret Cho?????
This year has to be better than last year with Kate Goeslin trying to dance and then with Jake “The Bachelor” dancing in his underwear….really!!!!!
If anything, watch the profesionals. Watch the stars(?) each week as they improve.

September 13, 2010 at 11:37 pm
(71) Priscilla says:

THESE ARE THE STARS!!?? EXCEPT FOR FLORENCE AND MAY BE JENNIFER, I WOULD SAY REAL CELEBRITIES ARE RUNNING SCARCE. I’LL WATCH IT ANYWAY BUT , HONETSLY!, YOU ARE SCRAPPING THE BOTTOM OF THE BARREL………….PALIN??? EVEN KATE WAS BETTER KNOWN…GOOD LUCK KID. I HOPE THE PRESS IS KIND TO YOU.

September 16, 2010 at 11:16 am
(72) Ingrid says:

I like the cast, different but I like it.

September 17, 2010 at 3:38 pm
(73) Sally says:

I think this is one of the best line ups! I guess they all really need the money!

September 19, 2010 at 2:56 pm
(74) jenny says:

You know, I always have been a big fan of the show and am kind of disapointed in some of the choices made, like Bristol Palin. I don’t think being a star means getting pregnant at sixteen and having a phsycho mother. Other than that I’m pretty excited for this season. It would all be perfect if we got rid of Bristol and put in a grat role model, and actual star!!!

September 20, 2010 at 11:13 am
(75) Terri says:

Who picked the people? What about someone like Brat Garrett. Now that would be fun to see. I am not sure I will even watch this season, Who wants too see Bristol Palin,David Hasselhof or Florence Henderson
dance. Now Margaret Cho I bet she can dance and she most likley will be why I watch.Good luck Margaret.

September 20, 2010 at 1:59 pm
(76) dianne says:

Dianne

Why are people being so critical before the show even starts? I bet they will all be in for a big surprise. Does it really matter who the stars are or are not. Being so critical when they have not seen the show is ridiculous. You can never please everybody no matter how hard you try. I am definetly going to watch and not be so critical.Good Luck to all contestants.

September 20, 2010 at 2:34 pm
(77) Donna Ryan says:

I do not agree with dancing with the stars eliminating a dancer the first week, give them a chance and let everyone dance a second time and then eliminate one. I think the dancer choices will be very entertaining and interesting. Good Choices. I hope you are going to go back to having the dancers in the back room where we can view them between dances, this allows us to see their personalities and how they interact with each other. I do not like it when they are standing up in the audience. Go back to the room where they all sit in between dances. thank you

September 21, 2010 at 1:35 am
(78) Rock says:

What a bunch of haters. Who said any of these people on this show were “stars”? (It’s just a name for the show for pete’s sake). Go back and look at the list of previous contestants – you will scratch your head. They try and try to get people all of the time and some people finally cave and some they have to work around schedules et al – and many just are too scared to do it. And its a huge committment. Why is this so hard to comprehend? I seriously don’t understand many of the people who comment on these sites.

September 21, 2010 at 7:44 pm
(79) ashley says:

If you are unhappy with the show, just turn the TV to another channel.

September 22, 2010 at 5:13 pm
(80) Erma says:

So how is “star” defined? Bristol Palin is a “star”? That is an insult tothe real stars on the show.

September 24, 2010 at 9:36 pm
(81) JCanada says:

What in the world are people coming to , am glad they are not judges [maybe when they grow up].This is a wonderful show ,makes me feel happy when having a bad day.The pro’s alone are worth it. Those that are so negative are just jealous, the should all be put on stage to be judged ,they would not have the gutsto even try.

September 27, 2010 at 9:24 pm
(82) carol says:

I love dancing with starts, And I like the contestants this year also. I understand that some will not be able to learn the dances, But what I don’t like, is when the judges can be so very rude, and tonight, sept.27,2010. I would like them to try and sing like michael bolton, or even come close to carrying a tune. I think you can give honest comments and let them know they are not doing so well, but to be that cruel as bruno, was, and len well come on. Where do you get off humilating people as badly as you did him tonight. Your adults, and should know better, shame on all of you.

I’d like to make a suggestion for the show. How about Lisa Kelly of Ice Road Truckers. I think Derek would be a good partner, they are about the same height, I think they would be a good couple. Lisa says she is up to trying diffeent things. She is a ice road truck driver as well as a motorcycle daredevil, plus one of the stars of the show.

The whole show is a sham. ABC does not know what Dancing With the Stars means. And they go all political, trying to advance their political agenda through a grotesques half-ass show.

Will not watch show anymore; I thought the remarks to Michael Bolton were cruel; plus the lineup stinks, with the exception of Jennifer Gray and her partner. Srah Palin should not have been there either.

Battle of the Blades is by far the more interesting of the two shows. I’ll check in next season for a better line-up to watch on DWTS. Jennifer Gray is the only one worth watching for me.

‘Stars’ are not necessarily actors/actresses. They are individuals who are in the eyes of the public – be it for good or bad, politic, entertainment, sports, or anything else that interests the public – that being us! Hello!! As always, I am enjoying learning about these people (many that I have never heard of up until now) as we see them evolving (or not) into not-half-bad dancers. All of you who ‘aren’t going to watch’ must not matter much since once again it is the most watched show in America! I guess you’re watching after all, huh?! LOL

Bristol Palin is a joke….why is she here and still competing…..mommy….that’s the only reason….and the judges makes fools of themselves as they drool over her….what a sham….degrades the program.

I love Rick Foxx he dances so good every week and is making it each week to another round and a higher circumstance. Ricks partner is a great dance teacher which is making them higher each week they perform.

Can not believe peopte who are so perfect and have never made a mistake in their life . Hope you don’t have daughters that make mistake in their lives like Bristol Palin . She could have taken the easy route and hidden the fact she got pregnant but faced up to it and seems to be a good mother. so back off unless you are perfect and your name is GOD .

Please just get zjennifer Grey off! We ate so sick of her tantrums and crying…good Grieg! And we thought she was such s nice person when infact she is just a self centered, spoiled, sickening, nasty person! Atleast when she’s on we can take a break and know we are missing absolutely nothing but B.S. Help us vote her off! What a misjudgement of characherwe had of her- get back under your Rick where you belong with all your negativity, no one wants to listen to it all!!!

Can’t understand why Bristol Palin still there. She can’t dance. Not fair to others. Bristol should be gone, not fair to others.I think all the republicans are involved. Can’t watch this show anymore.

(96) Maria says:

Briston needs to go. Its true, its not fair for others. She needs to go back to Alaska where they can see Russia. My God, cant stand that family. If Bristol doesnt get eliminated in the next episode, I will not watch the show anymore. And I speak for a million other viewers. SHE IS HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE. Worse than Kate in the last season. Its like a mass jsut moving form corner to corner, she should have been gone on the first day. WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE THAT KEEP VOTING FOR HER? It makes me wonder if the votes are reall. PLEASE TAKE HER OFF THE STAGE

I have watched this show for years, but now that it has been hijacked by politics, no more. DWTS needs to released the votes for each week so we can see how the far right has ruined a good show.

(98) mary says:

I agree with John comment 97. I think her mother is behind this whole thing. Sarah has just has to stay in the limelite all of the time and now she is using her daughter to do just that. If Bristol wins this time that is the end of the line for me. I will have lost all respect that I have for ABC and Dancing with the stars. This will be the last season I will watch. Calling Bristol any kind of a Star is really scraping the bottom of the bucket. This was never about judging and winning based on talent. This has just been a political popularity show.

After last weeks program with Palin getting in again, we can now see this program isn’t about good dancing… it’s all about politics!

(100) BAS says:

The “stars” arn’t even stars. Now I guess the ‘powers of being’ decide who they want to win and adjust numbers to meet that end. I can’t believe that someone who was consistently in the bottom 3, made it to the final. Brandy was far superior in every way to Bristol. It was decided that Jennifer was suppose to win, therefore Brandy had to go.. ‘real competition’.

Too bad, I always enjoyed the dancing and appreciated how hard contestants worked to learn how to ballroom dance. If it’s going to be a contest, leave the numbers alone. Or hire a reliable accounting firm to collect and announce the winners each week. Give the show back it’s credibility.
