If you are ever on an airplane with former NFL player Marcus Pollard and something happens to the pilot do not, under any circumstances let him land the plane.
The professional footballer and his wife Amani Pollard were one of three finalists on The Amazing Race Season 19 when they were challenged with successfully landing a plane in a flight simulator. They crashed. Then they crashed again. And again. All in all, Marcus Pollard crashed at least six times!
That gave the other finalists, couples Ernie Halvorsen and Cindy Chiang and Sandy Draghi and Jeremy Cline, the time to pull ahead and leave the Pollards lost in the simulated airplane wreckage.
Jeremy and Sandy landed their plane on the first try, while Ernie and Cindy took a second attempt to land theirs. While one couple was then waylaid by bad directions and forgetting a country from their travels, another went on to win the million dollars. Who won Amazing Race 19? Find out here.
Want to be on Amazing Race yourself? While they are not currently accepting applications, you can get a head start on the Amazing Race application.
