American Idol Season 11's finale is a two-day event that starts tonight. So, who will win?
Who cares? How exciting can it be when the best singers have already gone home?
Some seasons fate conspires against better singers and they fail to pull in the votes they deserve.
In my opinion, that happened this year with Skylar Laine and Joshua Ledet. And while the final two contestants have had their moments, neither strikes me as having the personality and talent of previous Idol winners.
So I'm having a hard time getting excited about who will win. For me, neither Phillip Phillips nor Jessica Sanchez will be the next American pop star.
I expect Ledet and Laine to outsell and outshine whoever Ryan Seacrest crowns as the winner Wednesday night. (Still, I've made my prediction about who will win American Idol Season 11.)
Obviously whoever has been casting all those votes disagrees with me. So, tell me, what is about Phillips and Sanchez that I'm missing?

probably you are deaf
how dare you say that the idol finale begun without the best singers? you are sooooo DUMB for saying that with the fact that jessica and phillip are great singers…hey skylar is good but not great and joshua is great but later on he goes wild on stage and screams and gets out of tune…..youre deaf.
You are so dumb as your face. These two are great singers and deserve to be where they are now. I agree, you are deaf!
I agree. American Idol was very boring. Neither has my vote. The best ones were voted off plain and simple. It was not excited as it should have been.
I Love Skylar And Phillip!
I just want my 2 minutes back for reading your crappy article. Did u even watch the show??? If yes then I agree w/ your readers that you are DEAF. Jessica is a clear winner
Skylar was a great performer, but country music singers really bore me to tears. If you aren’t into country music then she wasn’t really “all that.” Jessica does have an AMAZING voice…truly. It’s not every day you get someone who can totally slay a Whitney Houston song, so I just don’t think you can deny that her voice is just astonishingly good, especially for a 16 year old. However, I find her personality very flat, most likely because she’s 16. And I do get tired of her voice and of listening to ballad after ballad. Phillip Phillips, for me, has been the stand out all season. He’s the ultimate artist…singer songwriter. Every one of his songs had his own personality infused into the song, making it new and different and distinctly Phillip Phillips. And on top of that, he’s almost always playing an instrument. You can see how music is in his soul and I hope he does go on to do great things.
