The ninth season of So You Think You Can Dance has already narrowed out all but the top twenty contestants.
Those twenty dancers range in ages from 18 to 27 and hail from two countries and 13 states (Georgia and Florida are the best represented) .
Perhaps unsurprisingly, most contestants specialize in contemporary dance, but there are also competitors who prefer stepping, ballet, ballroom, popping, belly dancing and even martial arts fusion. (Okay, some of those styles are also probably 'contemporary' I'm no dancer.)
Anyway, the point is, there's some diversity in the contestants. Check out the top 20 and decide which favorites you'll spend the rest of the season rooting for.
