Corey Clark Won't Go Away

Tuesday June 14, 2005
Corey Clark may have noticed that America has moved on from the sex scandal that landed him on magazine covers this spring. The controversial former American Idol contestant is trying to get his name back in the news. On Monday, Clark released a statement to the press announcing that he is willing to cooperate if Fox decides to investigate his alleged sexual affair with AI judge Paula Abdul. Clark also claims that he now has the added support of other American Idol season 2 finalists. But does Fox really care about Clark's allegations? The press release notes: "Up until this point, neither Clark, or the former idols who have offered their support, have been contacted directly by Fox officials about information they may have been exposed to as contestants."
