Will Martha's New Apprentice Be A Good Thing for NBC?

Friday August 26, 2005
There is less than a month to go until the premiere of The Apprentice: Martha Stewart on Wednesday, Sept. 21. While we wait to see our favorite domestic diva in primetime, NBC has revealed some details about her much-anticipated show:

  • Just like Donald Trump, Martha will have two trusted advisors to help her make decisions on the show. Martha's Caroline will be her daughter Alexis Stewart.
  • While Trump's Apprentice theme song will continue to celebrate money, money, money, money, Martha's Apprentice theme will be all about sweet dreams. That's right. The show's theme song will be the eighties hit Sweet Dreams by Annie Lennox.
  • Don't expect the contestants on The Apprentice: Martha Stewart to work on Trump golf courses. The tasks on Martha's show will be centered around her areas of expertise, including home renovation, entertaining, and design.
  • Speaking of Donald Trump, the Donald will make a cameo appearance on Martha's show.

Tell us if you plan to watch Martha's new show in the Reality TV forum.
