Get to Know Ashley Parker Angel

Do you recognize Ashley Parker Angel from this old boy band photo? He's the blonde to the far right and if you don't know him yet, you will be hearing more about him if his new MTV reality show takes off. Ashley is a former member of O-Town, a pop group that was formed on the first season of another reality show, "Making the Band." Since the breakup of O-Town, Ashley has been struggling to launch a solo career. MTV will chronicle his journey on "There and Back: Ashley Parker Angel," premiering next Monday at 10:30 pm.A few years ago, I met and talked to Ashley while he was promoting an O-Town CD. I remember thinking he was one of the nicest pop stars I had ever interviewed. And when he shook my hand, I thought his hands were insanely soft! I never forgot that.
