Bravo will be taking us from the runway straight to the kitchen tonight. The second season of Top Chef kicks off at 11 pm, right after the much-talked-about season finale of Project Runway.

On Top Chef, 15 aspiring chefs compete for $100,000 and the Top Chef title. On each episode, the contestants compete in cooking challenges and they are judged by a panel of culinary experts. One contestant is eliminated at the end of each episode. Padma Lakshmi, who is known as the first Indian supermodel, replaces Katie Lee Joel as Top Chef's host this season.
