Top Model's Brooke Says Fabio Is Not Hot, Talks About Missing Her Graduation

Friday October 27, 2006
I couldn't help but laugh when Brooke had to pose with Fabio on Wednesday night's episode of Top Model. The poor thing looked so uncomfortable! When I interviewed the 18-year-old student from Keller, Texas about her Top Model elimination, I just had to ask. Does she think Fabio is hot -- or not?

"Not! I'm going to have to go with not on that one," she said. "Fabio was a nice guy. He was older, so it was kind of awkward to have to work with him in a romantic setting. I was looking forward to someone really young and hot. Fabio didn't really fit that bill."

Her bad photo shoot with Fabio led to Brooke's elimination from the show -- on the night she was supposed to be graduating from high school! I know I would still be mad about that one, but Brooke says "Looking back, I'm not that mad at all." But she admits it was hard spending her graduation night "alone, all by myself, all upset."

Brooke may not have been at the graduation, but she does have her diploma. In fact, she is majoring in Broadcast Journalism at the University of Texas.

When Brooke is watching Top Model with her college friends, she says she will be rooting for two of the remaining girls.

She told me: "I'm rooting for Caridee. Clearly, she has the whole package. She seems to be a judges favorite right now. I think she'll go really far. And believe it or not, I am rooting for Jaeda. She seems to be the underdog, but the girl has got a lot of natural beauty and a lot of natural potential. If she would just quit complaining about that hair!"
