The CW has announced that the third season of Beauty and The Geek kicks off on Wednesday, January 3rd.

On Beauty and The Geek, eight "gorgeous but academically impaired" girls are paired with eight "brilliant but socially challenged" guys in a competition that encourages the geeks to learn from the beauties and the beauties to learn from the geeks. Teams are eliminated along the way and the winning pair receives $250,000.

Beauty and The Geek will air for eight weeks in the Top Model time slot, Wednesdays at 8 pm ET/PT.
