Armed and Famous -- It Really Isn't That Bad!
So, I finally sat down to watch the first two episodes of the critically-panned CBS reality series Armed and Famous. I have to say, the show really isn't that bad!I wasn't expecting the celebrity cops to take their jobs as police officers for the Muncie, Indiana Police Department as seriously as they did. I was moved when Latoya Jackson, who is the show's biggest diva, counseled an abused woman by sharing stories from her own life. When Erik Estrada scolded a man who was accused of abusing his girlfriend, Erik looked like the real deal. (Too bad the scum bag was too preoccupied with the fact that Erik was the guy from CHiPs.)
In fact, there were moments from all of the celeb cops that made me get over being annoyed that a real police department would give them guns and let them patrol the streets. The Osbournes star Jack Osbourne shines on this reality show. He is professional, hard-working, and committed to the job. It seems Ozzy's troubled teen has grown up to be an inspirational young man.
