ABC has announced that Dancing With the Stars will return on March 19th in a new timeslot -- Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT. Performance shows will air on Mondays and results shows will air on Tuesday nights at 9 p.m.

"The great thing about this air schedule is that fans won't have to choose between the two reality hits this Spring," ABC Entertainment president Stephen McPherson said in a press release.

The reality hit ABC was afraid to compete against is American Idol, which returns this week on Fox. Smart move, ABC!

Unfortunately, the network did not reveal which celebrities will be participating on the new season of Dancing With the Stars. That announcement will be made on Good Morning America closer to the premiere.
