Anna Nicole's Death Ruled an Accidental Overdose

Monday March 26, 2007
Former reality star Anna Nicole Smith died from an accidental overdose, officials announced Monday.

Police chief Charlie Tigers says there was "no evidence of illegal drugs" in Smith's system. There was also "nothing to indicate any foul play," in her death six weeks ago. It seems Howard K. Stern is off the hook.

Anna Nicole appeared to be suffering from a stomach flu before her death and it was discovered that she had a bacterial infection. Drugs she took to treat her illness, antidepressant drugs she was talking to deal with her son Daniel's death, sleep medication, and other prescription drugs the star took at therapeutic levels resulted in the combined drug intoxication that killed her.
