Ty Pennington Arrested

Extreme Makeover: Home Edition star Ty Pennington was arrested over the weekend for allegedly driving drunk.
Ty was driving in Los Angeles after midnight Saturday morning when he was pulled over. He was charged with a misdemeanor and released on $5,000 bail.
Ty released the following statement:
"I made an error in judgment. We all make mistakes; however, this is about accountability. Under no circumstances should anyone consume alcohol while driving. I could have jeopardized the lives of others and I am grateful there was no accident or harm done to anyone. This was my wake-up call. I also want to apologize to my fans, ABC Television and my design team for my lapse in judgment and the embarrassment I have caused."

Im was a fan of Ty but after this incidend i HATE him. He was my role model. I wrote about him at school and at home. when i did a project for reading i picked himfor my biography project. So long Ty:(
I think that this is completely forgiveable. He hasn’t done anything none of us have done once or twice. He is accepting responsibilty and not blaming anyone else. Everyone makes mistakes. At least no one was hurt.
I think this is very forgivable. It doesn’t make it right, but we have all drivenn when we shouldn’t have once or twice. At least he’s being a man and admitting he messed up instead of hiding behind a lawyer ( see Paris)
Ya know, the only difference between Ty and us is that we haven’t gotten caught. As for the one who now HATES him, well, apparently this person didn’t like him that much after all.
Awesome now that i know Ty is a partier I will definitely watch his show…PARTY ON BROTHER!
However you should never drink and drive because you might hit a bump and spill your drink…LOL!
Only humans make mistakes. Ty has proven that he is also a human being and that makes him more worthy to my eyes, which means that I admire him greatly. I judge great men for the amount of positive input they give to their community and not for little mistakes, as long as such mistake wasn’t intended to hurt anybody.
Ty, I support you! You are the MAN! Keep doing the positive things you have been doing. Adelante!
Ty, just like any other human has the right to make mistakes, My hat off to him that he be a Man and take responisblity of his actions. I pray if Ty does have a hidden driving problem that He get help, there is ALOT of children that look up to Ty as a hero
Ty is a great guy, and is like the rest of us. He is just as capable of making mistakes, and also deserves a second chance like us as well. My thoughts are with him and pray he will be fine. Love his show.
