Oprah Winfrey's first reality TV project The Big Give (which turned out to be like The Apprentice with a philanthropic twist) concluded last night with the 'Biggest Giver' being surprised with a $1 million prize.

The show's winner Stephen and the other contestants on The Big Give had no idea that there was a huge cash prize waiting at the end of the competition, yet they remained motivated to change the lives of complete strangers week after week. That's inspiring and all, but at times The Big Give seemed to be more about the contestants' big egos than their big hearts.

Either way, many lives were changed with this show and Oprah succeeded at yet another venture. Read a recap of the The Big Give finale here.
