The morning after her elimination from American Idol, Syesha Mercado chatted with reporters about the two Davids, her future plans, and more. Here's what Syesha had to say during a conference call with the media.

Syesha Dishes About David Archuleta and David Cook:
Well, of course, they're unique. But...David Archuleta has that beautiful smile, and he has that really, really good connection with kids, the younger audience. And David Cook has that connection with the younger audience. The girls go crazy over him. And the older audience too...really, really charming, like all the older women. I feel like I'm a little sister and a big sister to both the Davids. And once everybody was gone, we really had the chance to really, really have a more intimate relationship and just really - just have fun and kind of that brotherly/sisterly love.

Now that I'm done drying my tears after watching tonight's American Idol (talk about emotional!), I can report that Syesha Mercado has been eliminated from the competition!

Syesha's elimination means it will be David Archuleta vs. David Cook in the finals, just like most of us have been predicting for some time now.

It's a Top Model first.  A "plus sized" model is the season's big winner! 

Whitney, a 20-year-old student from Atlantic Beach, Florida, topped finalists Fatima and Anya during a TV commercial challenge and high-fashion runway show.

"You're the first girl with some booty to win America's Next Top Model," Tyra told Whitney (who we still can't believe is considered plus sized, but whatev!).

They came really close, but Marissa Jaret Winokur and Tony Dovolani will not be dancing in the Dancing With the Stars finals next week.

Marissa and Tony were eliminated on Tuesday night, leaving Cristian and Cheryl, Jason and Edyta, and Kristi and Mark to battle it out for the shiny disco ball trophy.

Marissa was her usual bubby self as she said her goodbyes.  "I want everyone to go out and do something fun and do something that makes you feel sexy," she told Samantha Harris.  "And shake what your momma gave you!"

American Idol finalist Syesha Mercado has been stepping up her game in the past few weeks, but it may be time to say goodbye to season seven's last female standing.

Even with not-so-great song choices, Syesha delivered strong performances on Tuesday night -- but good enough to stop a David vs. David finale?  Read the recap to find out who came out on top when the final three performed on Tuesday night .

Shayne Lamas, who got a marriage proposal from Matt Grant on the season finale of The Bachelor, is the newest cover girl for Girls Gone Wild magazine!

Shayne, who is an aspiring actress and the daughter of actor Lorenzo Lamas, posed for the Girls Gone Wild photo shoot after competing on The Bachelor. One photo in her six-page spread shows her lying  on a bed wearing only a veil and holding a bouquet.

We wonder what Matt thinks about this!  These photos might add to the talk that Shayne only did The Bachelor to get her name out there.  "[She] is just looking to jump start her acting career," one reader commented today. Is this reader right? What do you think of Shayne's 'Wild' magazine spread?

While Jeff Archuleta is being vilified by the media, David Archuleta is standing up for his father in the new issue of TV Guide.

"I've heard some weird things that people have been saying, and it's kind of a bummer," David reportedly told TV Guide. "I think I, of all people, would know what's going on, and he's been great."

Reports surfaced last week that David's father has been banned from Idol's backstage for not respecting the wishes of producers and being a little bit too involved behind the scenes of the show.  Some earlier reports claim Jeff Archuleta even withheld water from David during a recording session!

"That's kind of stupid. I'm 17," David told TV Guide.  "I think I'd be able to stand up for myself if he were to take my water away."

Even though David would probably never really admit that his father is the stage dad from hell, it's good to hear his response to the whole controversy.  And I'm happy to hear that the poor kid's water isn't being taken away!

Music sensation Usher will perform on the season finale of Dancing With the Stars!

Usher will perform his hit songs "Love in this Club" and "Yeah."  He will be accompanied by his own dancers, but DWTS pros Cheryl Burke, Karina Smirnoff, Kym Johnson, Derek Hough, Genya Mazo and Artem Chigvintsev will also be dancing during Usher's performances.

The Dancing With the Stars finale airs next Tuesday.

Ryan Seacrest has another reality TV project on his hands.  The American Idol host is producing a summer reality show for  NBC titled Momma's Boy.

On Momma's Boy, a group of moms will choose the perfect brides for their sons from a group of bachelorettes.

According to NBC, "Conflict results when numerous mothers and their eligible bachelor sons are housed together with several 'brides-to-be.' As the tension mounts, viewers will watch the controlling mothers search for their son's perfect mate.  Some of the possible brides are nice girls -- while others might not be as appealing to the mothers. As expected, rivalries are formed, drama mounts and emotion builds as crucial choices must be made."

Momma's Boy will premiere after the Summer Olympic Games.
