The reality cooking competition MasterChef pits amateur chefs against each other in various challenges. The chefs must create dishes that impress the three chefs who serve as judges on the show: Gordon Ramsay, Graham Elliot and Joe Bastianich.
Season Three has been notable for several reasons, first, it is the first time a blind contestant is competing on a cooking show. Second, some of the rules have changed. For example, rather than limiting eliminations to the elimination challenges, the judges can now chose to eliminate contestants at any point, including during the (previously safe) Mystery Box challenges.
