The American Band Journey:
Music groups from all over the country audition for American Band. After the worst bands are weeded out, judges must choose only ten bands to move on to the semifinals. The top ten bands compete each week in front of a live studio audience. Viewers vote for their favorite bands each week. Bands are eliminated until only one remains. The top band will win a recording contract with 19 Records and title of Next Great American Band.
