What Lisa Had to Say

Lisa, a 24-year-old assistant wardrobe stylist from Los Angeles, CA was the eighth contestant to leave the competition. Here's what she had to say:

About the best part of the experience:
T"he best part of being on Top Model was probably that I felt lucky to be a part of the top 13 out of like 35,000 girls. That was amazing. Also to have the experience to shoot with top photographers."

About people who think she was cocky on the show:
"I wasn't trying to come off as cocky. I think when you're confident and you're with a lot of girls that you are competing against, and they see that you are doing well and that you're willing to share advice, then it's gonna come across that way. People are going to be defensive about your advice because it's coming from a competitor. But really, it was coming from a good place and I don't consider myself cocky."

About being portrayed as outrageuos:
"I was really just being myself. It may have come across as being outrageous. But all the other girls, they were so concerned about the way they were going to be portrayed. They were trying to be the way they want them to be. They forgot to breath and they were not being themselves. I didn't let that get to me at all."

About feeling betrayed by the girls:
"I really thought they were my friends [until I saw what they had to say about me behind my back]. They weren't coming up to my face and saying things...In all reality, they were very nice to me."
