What Kim Had to Say

Kim, a 21-year-old student from New York, NY was the ninth contestant to leave the competition. Here's what she had to say:

About the best part of the experience:
"I think that the best part was being able to have the experience to meet such prominent people in the fashion industry."

About the worst part of the experience:
"The worst part was probably the notion of not being able to trust anyone that you live with. There were people that you grew to trust, like Kyle. I knew that I could trust her from the beginning. Kyle is a great person and she became my best friend on the show. I think there are people that I thought that I could open up to such as Bre. But the competition gets the best of you and you lose the friendship."

About how the show influenced her fashion sense:
"I think that the show influenced me in that I am now much more comfortable wearing dresses and dressing in a more feminine sense. But I still stay true to my style."

About being the only lesbian contestant:
"First of all, you never know if I was the only lesbian in the house. I knew that I was going to be the only really out lesbian. I think that was really exciting for me because I really am proud of my sexuality and I enjoyed expressing it on the show. At the same time, it was definitely kind of nerve-wracking because I remember reading in a magazine that I was some kind of poster child."
