Move over, there’s a new mean girl in town
If you thought that Monique’s departure meant America’s Next Top Model would take a dull turn, think again. One model was ready to take her place.
Melrose…the new Monique
Since Melrose and Monique weren’t exactly best pals, we were not surprised to see Melrose rejoice over Monique’s departure. What we were surprised to see however, is the fact that now that the focus is off of Monique, we can see the ugly side of Melrose.

A group shower? The girls try to see how many naked models can fit in a shower. That’s certainly every guy’s fantasy come to life!
Are we human pretzels?
The girls are trained on how to strike “extreme poses”. We watched their coach contort his body like some sort of human pretzel. Surprisingly Anchal was very flexible. I have had enough of hearing her gripe about her weight though. I’d like to shove a Twinkie down her throat because I for one would kill to have her body.
Does Melrose ever shut up?
Melrose continues to drone on and on to the girls. Whether she is gossiping or criticizing, one thing is certain. She isn’t going to win any personality contests. Anchal even bursts into tears when she overhears Melrose badmouthing her to the other girls.
Dinner with Twiggy
The girls head to the Oasis for dinner. We are treated to a big phony smile from Melrose as she kisses up to her favorite fashion icon. It was a bit nauseating.
Human art
The girls show off all they have learned as they transform themselves into fashionable, human statues accentuated by lovely Erica Courtney jewelry (Mrs. Courtney is really a Cappo. I grew up with the son she kidnapped when she left Baton Rouge for LA. That’s a true story! Sorry, I couldn’t help throwing that in.) Anyway, the girls strike “extreme poses” and freeze like statues. Eugena wins the challenge. Better yet, she wins $32,000 worth of Erica Courtney jewelry. Lucky girl!
It’s a circus!
The girls are off to another zany shoot. This time they are circus sideshow freaks. AJ was a sexy yet scary cannibal. Anchal failed to impress as the giant lady. Jaeda wasn’t at her best as the strong woman. Eugena did a good job as the bird Lady. Brooke was cute as rubber girl. Melrose managed to pull off an old lady with a young body. Michelle and Amanda were sexy Siamese twins. Megg, however, was the big disappointment. She was the bearded lady and totally brought no spark to the shoot.
It’s elimination time again!
The ladies are ready to face judgment. We all have a feeling it’s going to be Jaeda or Megg. When Megg bursts into tears when facing the judges, her fate is sealed. She is sent home and Jaeda once again narrowly escapes elimination.
